Easier Event Planning
Finding & Adding Friends
Go to your Profile (bottom nav bar, rightmost icon).
Tap Find Friends.
Start typing in the search bar to look up users by username or name.
Select a user to view their profile.
Sending a Friend Request
If the user is not already your friend, their profile will show a Send Friend Request button.
Tap "Send Friend Request" to send them a request.
If their profile is private, you won’t see their Things, Sets, or Places until they accept.
Viewing Your Friends
Go to your Profile.
Tap Friends (X) to open your friends list.
Use the search bar to find a specific friend.
Tap a friend’s name to view their profile.
Removing a Friend
Open your Friends List
Find the friend you want to remove.
Tap Delete next to their name.
Viewing & Interacting with Other Users
Viewing Friend's Profiles
Tap on a friend’s name from your Friends List to view their profile.
If they have shared Things, Sets, or Places with Friends visibility, you’ll be able to see them.
Viewing Non-Friend's Profiles
If you find a user via Find Friends, you can view their profile.
If their account is Public, you can see their Things, Sets, and Places.
If their account is Private, you’ll only see a Send Friend Request button and won’t be able to view any of their items until they accept your request.
Messaging & Chat
Kwipoo’s chat features make it easy to stay in touch and coordinate with friends. You can start direct conversations with any user or join event chats to keep communication organized.
Accessing the Chat Center
Go to your Profile.
Tap Chat Center to see a list of all your chats.
Direct Chats – One-on-one messages with friends.
Event Chats – Group chats automatically created for events you’re part of.
Starting a Direct Chat
Go to a friend’s profile.
Tap the Chat Icon (speech bubble in the top right).
If you already have a conversation, you’ll jump into it.
If not, a new chat thread will be created.
Using Event Chats
When you join or create an Event, an event chat is automatically created.
You can access Event Chats from the Chat Center or through the Event Details.
Privacy & Control
Kwipoo gives you full control over who can see your Things, Sets, and Places.
Public
Anyone can view your profile and visible items.
Private
Only friends can see your profile and items.
Hidden
No one can see your profile or items.
Your privacy settings apply globally, but you can also set visibility for each individual Thing, Set, or Place.
